JOB DESCRIPTION
The Front Desk and Boutique Sales Associate is a part time position responsible for assisting in the salon and boutique front of house. This includes first and foremost, giving our guests a seamless, friendly experience both in person and on the phone. The Front Desk Associate will report directly to the Guest Handling Manager and will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional client experience, offering additional services, handling guest reservations, cashing out clients, driving Front Desk sales goals and maintaining a clean salon environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing a friendly experience for our guests at check out, check in and one the phone
Makes Guest reservations using salon software
Gives tours to all first time Guests
Meets sales goals set by Guest Handling Manager
Cash handling and opening/closing procedures
Merchandizing retail displays and point of sale displays
Maintains a cleanliness environment such as, dusting retail and surfaces, sweeping, washing bowls, washing and folding towels, taking out trash, keeping backroom tidy
Assisting in ordering and maintaining inventory
Provide a helping hand when needed
Run errands when necessary
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Fun, outgoing and goal driven
Customer service and retail sales (including cash handling) experience preferred
Minimum 2 years of professional work history, preferable in a service industry
Experience with customer relations management (CRM) software
Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, and to complete assigned projects on one’s own
A sincere interest in the beauty industry
Part time and full time available
Pay: $8 to $15 / hour
