JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator who is passionate about the service industry and thrives on providing an exceptional guest experience. The FDC is responsible for maintaining the success of the front desk with heavy focus on Guest handling, Guest scheduling, achieving sales goals, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized salon environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Guest Experience – Provide a fun-loving greeting to our guest on the phone and in-person ensuring a positive, unforgettable first impression

  • Handling high call volume and scheduling Guest reservations using our POS/CRM software system (SalonBiz)

  • Provide facility tours to our first-time guests

  • Welcomes all guests by offering refreshments

  • Checks guests in and notifies stylists

  • Checks guests out by processing the guest’s service ticket and handles all cash, credit card and tip processing

  • Manages Stylists’ booking schedules

  • Knowledgeable of products, services, and prices to meet Front Desk sales goals

  • Leads the effort to keep all areas clean and organized

  • Manages all inventory duties includes but not limited to ordering, receiving and restocking retail & backbar products

  • Provide a helping hand when needed

  • Run errands when necessary

  • Support the management of Social Media Platforms

  • Provides Front Desk reports to Management

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Work in a high energy, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to perform under pressure and juggle multiple tasks at once

  • Has a general desire to serve people

  • Fun, outgoing and goal driven

  • Customer service and Retail Sales experience is a must. Beauty Industry is a plus

  • Good understanding of social media platforms

  • Minimum 2 years of professional work history, preferable in a service industry

  • Experience with POS and CRM software

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Thrive in a TEAM oriented environment

  • Strong communication skills, both internal and external

  • A sincere interest in the beauty industry
